This is my favorite houjicha out there! It kind of reminds me of cocoa, and hot cocoa once mixed with warm water and milk. I've also mixed it with brownies since I saw the recipe on their account! Love that it's low caffeine too so I have it as a treat at night.
a delicious hōjicha! love making drinks & especially adding it to my brownie batter🙂↕️🤎
I have tried multiple hojichas. Some just do not have that specific taste and texture I enjoy. This one however has an equal balance of roasted and umami taste. 4 grams of this makes a perfect cup!!
This has definitely become one of my favorite hōjicha powders! It mixes in really well, no clumps at all. A little goes a long way, and it's flavorful. I usually make lattes with it ( with oatmilk) but I’m really excited to try it in hojicha brownies and muffins. And like a previous review mentioned no plastic packaging, which is really important to me. Strongly recommend!
I've never tried hojicha before but their social media made me tack it onto my matcha order. I don't think I've ever had tea like this but goodness gracious, it's delicious! It truly tastes like it's been toasted in the oven. The maple syrup advice is expert advice, of course, coming from the founder who is a Japanese Tea expert! When I try to be low-calorie, I add splenda and it tastes great. I found a new favorite tea I can drink at night! Will reorder this along with the matcha!
